I've just finished watching a documentary about the rise of neo-conservatism in the U.S. and the radicalization of the muslim society. Another excellent job from the folks at BBC!!! I strongly recommend watching all three episodes to anyone interested in knowing the people and movements that define the present world situation...it offers a very interesting view of the background of current events.

Statistics, I like statistics?
Shit, I've spent the night analyzing economic data and trying to describe and analyze relationships between, say, GDP, rate of unemployment and net export. Boring right? But I had to do it, otherwise I'd have failed a 6-credit-worth course, a stunt I cannot afford:-)
The funny thing is, the more I understood all the funky formulas, hypothesis test etc., the more I enjoyed solving the problem and kind of started to, ehm, like it.
But then again, it was already 6 a.m., I was probably hallucinating...

Future plans
So I've made it! I've signed up for the CEMS MIM Degree programme. As always, I have waited till the very last minute to do so. I guess I just can't get anything done unless I'm under pressure;-)
I've picked 5 schools:
- Haute Ecole de Commerce, France
- Université catholique de Louvain, Belgium
- Smurfit School of Business, Ireland
- Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam, The Netherlands
- Helsinki School of Economics and Business Administration, Finland
Hopefully I'll get accepted to one of the first two, but of course any of them would be great. I still have to pass the entry exam and get accepted, which means it's time to polish my French :-D
Salut!
